Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains practical steps to request deletion or disconnection of data associated with Focuslyne, including optional WhatsApp-related data where applicable.
Last updated: 27/05/2026
Focuslyne is a scheduling platform used by professionals to accept bookings. Some data may be controlled by the professional you booked with. Feature availability (including WhatsApp) depends on plan and configuration.
1. Introduction
This page describes how to request deletion of data associated with Focuslyne. It is intended to support general user transparency and, where applicable, requirements for third-party integrations (including Meta / WhatsApp Business).
Focuslyne is used by professionals to publish booking pages and manage appointments. Depending on context, Focuslyne may act as a controller for platform account data and as a processor or service provider for client data on behalf of professionals. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Data Processing page.
2. Who this page is for
- Focuslyne account holders / professionals who want to delete or deactivate their account data.
- Booking clients / invitees who submitted information to a professional's booking page (for example name, email, phone number, or custom field answers).
- People who interacted via WhatsApp notifications, where a professional enabled WhatsApp Business messaging for transactional booking notifications.
- Meta / WhatsApp reviewers who need a public data deletion instructions URL for integration setup and review.
3. Focuslyne account deletion
If you are a Focuslyne account holder, you may be able to request account deletion from inside the app (for example in Settings). You may also request deletion by emailing info@focuslyne.com.
Important: account deletion may deactivate your profile and prevent further access, but it may not immediately remove every record connected to your account. Some data may be retained where needed for security, legal compliance, payment and accounting records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, backups, and service integrity, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Disconnecting integrations
Where available, you can disconnect integrations in the Focuslyne dashboard (for example under Settings → Integrations). Disconnecting an integration is different from a deletion request: it is intended to stop future use of the connection.
Focuslyne may support integrations such as calendar providers, video conferencing providers, payment providers, and optional WhatsApp Business messaging. When you disconnect, Focuslyne may stop syncing data and stop using stored credentials for that provider.
For WhatsApp specifically, disconnecting is intended to remove active connection credentials (where stored) and stop future use of the connection. However, some historical operational records (for example opt-in snapshots, delivery statuses, and audit logs) may be retained in line with our Privacy Policy.
5. WhatsApp / Meta-related data
Focuslyne does not provide a consumer Meta login. WhatsApp features (where enabled) are connected by the professional using a WhatsApp Business account and are used for booking-related transactional notifications.
Depending on configuration, WhatsApp-related data processed by Focuslyne may include:
- phone numbers used for booking notifications (for example E.164 formatted numbers);
- notification consent information (for example opt-in text snapshots and timestamps where collected);
- message delivery statuses (for example sent, delivered, failed, read where available);
- template and connection metadata associated with the professional's WhatsApp Business account (for example identifiers and approval status), where the product stores those details.
To request deletion of WhatsApp-related data, email info@focuslyne.com with enough information to identify the relevant account, booking, professional/business, and phone number.
6. Booking clients and invitees
If you booked with a professional using Focuslyne, you may wish to contact the professional/business you booked with first. They typically control the client data collected for their services and may be responsible for responding to data subject requests under applicable law.
In some contexts, Focuslyne may act as a processor or service provider for the professional. If you contact Focuslyne directly, we may need to coordinate with the professional to handle certain requests, or refer you to them where appropriate.
7. How to submit a deletion request
Send your request to info@focuslyne.com. To help us locate the correct records, include:
- your name;
- the email address used with Focuslyne (if any);
- the professional/business you booked with, and any relevant booking details (for example booking date);
- the phone number used for WhatsApp notifications, if applicable;
- a clear description of what data you want deleted.
8. Verification and processing
We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request (for example to prevent unauthorized deletion). We will review and respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
We do not promise immediate deletion from all systems. Backups, logs, and technical records may persist for a period due to operational resilience, security, and integrity requirements.
9. Data we may retain
Even after a deletion request, Focuslyne may retain certain data where needed for:
- legal compliance and statutory obligations;
- security, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention;
- payment, accounting, chargeback, dispute, and audit records;
- service integrity, backups, and incident investigation.
For more detail, see our Privacy Policy and Data Processing page.
