This page describes how Focuslyne processes personal data in connection with scheduling, bookings, integrations, and optional payments.

This document is a standard-form template describing how Focuslyne processes personal data on your behalf, as controller, when you use the Service to manage your own clients' bookings. By using Focuslyne, this document applies automatically — no separate signature is required. If you need a bilaterally signed version for your own internal compliance purposes, contact info@focuslyne.com.
1. Roles
When you use Focuslyne to manage your clients' bookings, you are the data controller ("Controller") of that data. Focuslyne acts as processor ("Processor"), processing that data only on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions, as configured in the Service.
2. Subject matter and duration
The subject matter of processing is providing the scheduling and booking Service described in the Terms of Service. The duration corresponds to the period your account remains active, plus the additional retention period described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Nature and purpose
Storing, processing, and making available the data your clients submit through your public booking page, so you can manage your schedule and communicate with them.
4. Categories of data subjects
The end clients who book services through your Focuslyne public page.
5. Categories of personal data
Name, email, phone when provided, answers to custom booking-form fields, and booking history — as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
6. Focuslyne's obligations as processor
Focuslyne commits to:
- process data only on your documented instructions (the Service's features and configuration);
- ensure anyone with access is bound by confidentiality;
- apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (see Privacy Policy, Security section);
- reasonably assist with data subject rights requests;
- notify you without undue delay of any data breach affecting your clients' data; and
- delete or return personal data at the end of the contractual relationship, unless retention is legally required.
7. Subprocessors
Focuslyne uses subprocessors to operate the Service (hosting, database, email, error detection, rate limiting, and optional notifications). The full list, with purpose and location for each, is in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you provide general authorisation for these subprocessors; material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.
8. International transfers
Where a subprocessor is outside the EEA, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard — see detail in the Privacy Policy.
9. Audit
On reasonable request, we provide the information necessary to demonstrate compliance with the obligations described here. Given the Service's current stage, on-site audits are not offered; a case-by-case solution can be discussed by contacting info@focuslyne.com.
10. Governing law
This document is governed by Portuguese law, as are the Terms of Service.
